that sound is so unique and crazy.. :)
I spent many many hours on one of these or several of them was a great machine and durable never break down very often burn lots of fuel though, but it had power to knowend👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
price this bysycyle
love these Rumely engines they are fascinating to me the workmanship that went into them beautiful beasts is exceptional
I live in Nsw Australia, every year they have an old tractor weight pull competition, every year out of all the old pre 1960 machines the Lanz Bulldog tractor or bull dozer , wins , 11 litre one cylinder , 60 hp but 1100 foot pounds of torque. All the other old machines stop but the Landz just keeps firing , will not stop , that massive piston , impressive .
Talk about lead poisoning bonanza
Fantastic Doubleheader.
Indeed!
I want one of them. I’ve got an international 806, now i only need and international 706 and 1206.
Muito veloz
Love them rollers❤ Have a Fowler Steam Roller on my model railway layout. Thanks for sharing. Regards. Elizabeth
Thanks for watching!
I thought the ball gunner was the most dangerous part of WW2
That's one big boy
I live in suburbia. I an glad we don't wash this way anymore. All that air pollution from a 2 cycle hit and miss engine. Be a real problem if everybody did washing this way. Now i do realize something goid to be said if you dint have electricity. Which is probably the reason for this machine at the time. Eell today we have small generators that can be used to power real automatic washing machines to do laundry. No reason to do by this methode
Its true, these old beasts did their best work in rural areas where electricity often didnt show up till the 70’s.
Where in the US didn't have electricity until the 1970's. I thought it was the 1940' or 1950's
Вечный двигатель😊
Нефтяной
Super 👌
🎉🎉
Fun with those ones, you can run them at "zero" RPM. If you get the timing on it right, you can have it bounce back and forth between strokes without completing a full revolution. Only lasts for a little while though before it cools off too much to run properly.
Love the sound of them old Detroits.
bravo
I see 14 chopper engines . Lovely . Good old English engineering !
Want.
Love her whistle
Was waiting for someone to come and spit some sick rhyme over the top of this.
What a great shot!
Как ой еще NewHollabd. 😂😂 Скорее OldHolland😂😂
The head gasket in my washer blew... That's a first
Such a good sounding 6 chime whistle!!!
I have that engine, nice to see it hooked up to The washer, clean her up
What a beauty
Reminds me of a kirovets k700A
Try letting the pony motor run a bit longer without introducing the fuel to the diesel , reason being the hot exhaust from the pony runs through the inlet manifold of the diesel ,heats it up, hot air into diesel ,will start much easier especially during you guys cold winters Cheers.
They gave me a presentation there too! There where very good
You could not rev it for us? Dman boy.
I wish, it was warming up for a pull.
I live in the UK and this year will be hosting some American and Canadian families when they each visit their relatives graves in England. They served their country in WW2 RCAF Bomber Command. I would like to show them one of these engines running on a trailer - it was the failure of these engines that cost their lives over England in 1943 and 1944. One hit by lightning and the another shot up by the Luftwaffe while returning from France Mine Laying. Stirling Mk III and Halifax Mk III. In total 8 RCAF Families - Is there any way they could see this engine running either here in England or in Canada?
100 comment nice but it will be better if it was John Deere
My grandad was a rear gunner, completed two tours, his aircraft sometimes took some flak splinters but apart from that never a scratch. They avoided a few night fighters, sometimes by corkscrewing if they were moving in to attack but at other times the fighters never saw them and flew past. Once a Mosquito shot down the nightfighter just as they began the corkscrew. His keys to success were to remove all the glazing in his turret so there was no glare and it greatly improved his already excellent night vision. His other key to success was that he, and the mid upper, would never fire their guns. As he said, .303" bullets would do nothing against an enemy with an armoured plane and 20mm guns except tell him where you were so he could kill you easier!
Do know where can I ship Allis Chalmers model G parts?
Thats beautiful
Grew up with r u m l e y oil pull tractors, nothing better especially under load
I used to volunteer at YAM Elvington; at the time the Halifax was still being restored (fuselage lower was being worked on). I met a lot of crew. It was an incredible privilege, they will share stories you'll never forget. Although the area was cordoned off, if they were crew I would take them around and let them look into the entryway. One gentleman, a former RCAF rear gunner, told me he had not had that view since leaving his ditched Halifax, when he nearly drowned. He showed me a scar that ran from his elbow to his forearm, which was shrapnel from a cannon shell from the fighter that attacked them. it hit his wristwatch, travelled up his forearm and out his elbow, making it hard for him to get out of the flooding fuselage. He got stuck on the tailwheel oleo, within sight of the open door, and dragged his injured self out into the dinghy. I have endless admiration for these people.
660 was a international disaster you needed three of them to keep one going other two for parts
It is an RD 8 ......................................................
Is it stock motor? Pump turned up?
Hello, what does T.V. 12781 refer to? I spotted another Titan online that has TV 18609 painted on it. Thank you.
Ah yes, this is the tractors serial number, oddly enough it was painted onto the frame.
not a 2 stroke
Indeed it is, the Maytag engine is a headless single cylinder two stroke.
you mix the oil, theres no valves, its also 100 years old
This windmill is so beautiful!
I love it.
Ooo baby a triple
She’s a beast.
I love how it sounds like a dragon breathing!!
That thing was smokin like a freight train!😂 Loved it!
Ooh, she needs to be retimed on her synchronisations and have her whistles retuned.
Yeah, sadly they have turned the steam pressure way down to the chimes to quiet the whistles down.
